The displaced of the Yazidi village of Shadera, residing within the al-Shahba area, consider that the practices and crimes of the Turkish occupation forces against the Yezidis of Afrin are aimed toward exterminating the youngsters of this genuine religious component and changing the demography of the region.
The series of crimes and violations of the Turkish occupation forces and therefore the terrorist militias loyal to them continue within the occupied Afrin region, with the aim of adjusting the demography of the region and its features.
The construction of settlements within the Yazidi village of Shadera, which is affiliated with the Sherawa sub-district, with the support of Palestinian, Qatari, Kuwaiti and Turkish associations and bodies, is evidence of the systematic policy happening against the sons of the Yazidi component in occupied Afrin.
Muhammad Mustafa Sharaf, an exile from the village of Shadera, says that his village has been known since past for its inhabitants and therefore the Yazidi religion, but Turkey's occupation of Afrin turned things in their village and region the wrong way up .

Sharaf added that the terrorist militias and therefore the Turkish occupation forces are building mosques and settlements within the Yazidi villages after nearly four years of occupying the Afrin region to settle the families of terrorist militias and impose a replacement reality on the residents of the region.
